Gemini, a leading U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a complimentary educational resource to augment the public's agreement of digital assets.

Cameron Winklevoss, Gemini's president, unveiled Cryptopedia on Thursday. He described the new platform as a "free resource that provides open-access, high-quality crypto teaching to the globe."

The platform currently includes categories devoted to cryptocurrencies, security, trading and investing, and DeFi.

Cryptopedia was too designed for subject matter experts to share their knowledge about digital avails. The platform's "Expert Network" includes founders and thought leaders from some of the industry's biggest projects, including Dauntless CEO Brendan Eich, Aave CEO Stani Kulechov, Tezos co-founder Kathleen Breitman and others.

Although crypto markets have matured over the years, the need for education remains strong given the relatively limited use cases of digital coin. Even projects within the crypto industry take identified didactics every bit essential to advancing adoption, especially at the individual level.

According to the most recently available data on the subject, cryptocurrency adoption remains in its very early stages. Research from the Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance recently plant that roughly 101 people across the globe currently hold Bitcoin (BTC) and other digital assets. In society to grow this number while avoiding the bug that plagued early crypto adopters, more education is needed.
